Project Moon Wall – Wall panel out of the 3D Printer – Part 3

In the thrid part of the series, I describe how I mounted the moon tiles on the wall behind my TV.

To build the substructure I got some roof battens and pressboard from the next DIY market.

1. Step was to mount the roof battens on the wall to put the pressboard later on it. Remember to place the required cables in place.

2. Step was to glue the moon tiles to the pressboard. It seems like the best way is to use building glue and press the tiles gently on the pressboard without damaging them.

To minimize the gap between the tiles, it is a good idea to grind them with some fine sandpaper.
